Moving forward

My parents have been convincing me to work at Germany. It’s easy for me since I also have a German passport so I don’t need any visa to go to Germany and I won’t be needing work permit to work there as well. That’s just one of the pro’s of having a dual citizenship ;) I’m a bit hesitant but at the same time excited about it. Hesitant and excited because I’ll be on my own! Yay! I’m scared of the idea but I also love the idea! I just submitted my CV to my Dad’s friend who says would help me secure a job, but he doesn’t want to promise anything yet. I really wish he could help me. I’d love to start soon to experience and learn new things :)

Uh?

Decided to drop by and was surprised to find out that my previous theme was lost. Hmm.. I don’t know what happened. But perfect timing because I have a new theme made by the lovely Dianne. Thanks a lot Dianne :)

The One

If, by some miracle, you’re lucky enough to meet THE ONE, whatever you do, don’t let them go. Because you don’t get another shot at it. Soulmates aren’t like buses; there’s not going to be another one along in a minute. That’s why they’re called “THE ONE”.
- from the book, You’re The One That I Don’t Want

Read this quote over Tumblr and I got intrigued. I immediately did my research on the book and found out that it is available here at NBS. I said to myself, I got to have this book. Even though I know I won’t get to read it. Haha! I’m not really the type who reads books, I’d prefer magazines over books. But still when I find it interesting, I end up buying a book. I read the first few chapters and never get to finish reading the book. I think there’s only two books that I was able to finish reading and those were 1) The Five People You Meet in Heaven and 2) What I Really Need To Know I Learned From Kindergarten. The second book I only got to read because it was a requirement for school. The first one, well, it was recommended by my sister and it was a thin book. :P

Last Saturday, after my German lessons class. I went to Santana Grove to stop by NBS, since they’re having a book sale. I went straight to the Chick Lit section, but I couldn’t find the book. I felt sad, but still I tried to look for the book. And after 2 minutes, I found it! Again, I was sad when I saw the book didn’t have any discount stickers on it which was weird because the night before I checked the NBS website and found out that it was on sale. Still I got a copy, I felt the urge to check out the other books on sale… when I found a hardbound book entitled Love The One You’re With… I checked the price at the back and was surprised to find out that it costs only 99Php!! So I got a copy as well. Haha! I actually started reading the book when I got home so far the story is interesting. I get to imagine that I am the main character and thinking what I would do if that happened to me :p I still haven’t read a touching quote or cheesy line from the book though. Anyways, I’m off to continue my reading :)
