Anyone want a 2012 Starbucks Planner? I’m giving away this planner since I already purchased a planner back in Melbourne as a souvenir for myself. I didn’t plan to collect the stickers but ever since Gel introduced/recommended that I try Starbucks’ Toffee Nut beverage I got hooked! I liked the iced version more I think it took me about 3 weeks until I finally completed promo card (thanks to my supportive office mates as well!) Having a sister has its ups and downs. When we we’re still kids my sister and I would always fight a lot! We’d throw food at each other, scream at each other and even kick each other! But that’s all over now, we’ve grown up and matured. My sister and I are completely opposite: she’s outspoken & confident while I’m the shy & quiet type. She’s outgoing & adventurous while I’m more laid back and afraid to try new things. My sister is also the kikay type, I guess me being afraid to try new things made my sense of style simple and plain. The good thing is that I get to have my own makeup artist when I have to attend events like weddings. At least I can get my makeup done to me for free

Since my sister is into make-ups and I just like it when she experiments on me, I’m joining HoshiGirl’s ELF Christmas Giveaway & Electroanna’s First Ever Blog Giveaway. First of all, thanks to Dianne of Depixelart.com for my WordPress theme! I really wanted a “personal” theme for my blog that I asked if she could make me a typographic portrait of my self. She was honest enough to tell me that she has not worked with typographic portraits before but she still managed to deliver. I’m so happy with my theme It’s personal, simple & clean!

I know I haven’t been motivated to blog lately but I felt that this is just what I need to be motivated again. A brand new home :!: This would be my main blog site from now on and use OrangeBin.net for my Tumblr until it expires*. I’m not starting over though, my old blog entries are too memorable for me that I’m in the process of transferring most of them here. I’ve already drafted a couple of blog entries and will be starting a contest soon. Please do watch out for these and I hope people will participate on this blog’s first contest. *fingers crossed*

I’m still alive I’ve been neglecting this blog simply because I’m not in the mood to blog. I’ve been enjoying my life in the real world that I don’t have energy or interest in sharing the things that’s been happening in my life.

For the sake of my “readers” or the lack of, here’s a quick update:
My assignment in Melbourne, Australia has ended last 21 October 2011. Finally! After a year and a couple of weeks. I was only supposed to stay in Melbourne for 3 months but for some reason, the 3 months got extended to 6 months, to 9 month to a year! I’m not complaining though. I guess what made the assignment bearable was that I was not alone. Last year there were about 12 of us until one by one their assignment ended and had to return back until there was only 2 of us left. I can still recall one of the managers comment to me & my colleague, that it just shows that we’re doing a good job in supporting the project. It’s good to hear comments like that especially when you hear it from the clients itself. It just makes you want to work even better It was definitely an experience that I enjoyed despite the number of overtime work, weekend work and even working 24 hours straight!

I returned to Manila, Philippines last 22 October 2011. Since I returned, I’ve been out a lot! Attended a friend’s wedding the very next day. Actually, this was the reason why I returned on the 22nd because I promised my friend that I will be there on her wedding day. If her wedding was not on the 22nd I would have arrived a week later. It’s good to be back Unfortunately though on my first week I got sick. My friends and family would kid me that it was because I’m not used to the weather anymore. But true, I kinda miss the weather in Melbourne. On my first few days back in the office I had nothing to do which I believe is the reason why I got sick. Yes, I’m that workaholic

I’m looking forward to December! This is when the weather becomes a bit bearable and of course because it’s Christmas! My favorite time of the year! And also just like that 2011 is about to end. I can’t believe that 2011 is almost over!
